How It All Started

Our Story

Launched in 2010 by Toby & Nishma Hardman, Wicked Home became a custom furniture company right off the bat. Reusing the floorboards of decommissioned boxcar freight trains found beneath the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the two discovered a passion for reclaimed wood and furniture. So, with a whole lot of elbow grease and a few hundred packs of sandpaper, the pair returned to England in 2013 with a fresh set of ideas and big plans for the future.

Real-Life Decor Solutions

Since then, Wicked has grown to become a leading source of custom hardwood furniture, collaborating with real people looking for real-life decor solutions. One example is the famous hairpin leg, which just wasn’t available to purchase in Europe. We wanted to offer the rejuvenated DIY community a stylish and functional solution to their projects, so got to work crafting our own out of our metal shop in Hertfordshire.

Expert Craftmanship in the UK

Passionate Carpenters & Metal Workers

From there, Wicked Home has grown bigger and better. Our love for the hairpin and its stylish functionality has opened our minds to a new era of interior design which unites expert craftsmanship with the DIY community’s creative drive. We’ve continued with that mindset, creating any and all interior solutions in the very same vein. All of our products have been created by our expert carpenters and metal workers, toiling away to perfect the combination of hardwood and steel in our very own Hertfordshire workshop. Of course, all of our products are readily available in our recommend sizes but if you’re unique space requires something a little longer, a lot wider, or a tad higher then you’ve come to the right place. We know the Devil’s in the detail, and we are Wicked after all.
